Who says chocolate is bad for you?
I just came across a great article that shows evidence that some chocolate can be good for you! Not only good, it can help maintain your weight and help prevent type 2 diabetes!
This magical ingredient is "Oligomeric procyanidins" found in dark chocolate. In the study published in The Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, the scientists wrote, "Oligomeric procyanidins appear to possess the greatest anti-obesity and anti-diabetic bioactivities of the flavanols in cocoa, particularly at the low doses employed for the present study."
So, do yourself a favor, and treat yourself to some Dark Chocolate today!
